Square Knot Consulting specially presents:

"Getting Your Ducks In A Row For Families"

In the year 2006 charitable contributions from American giving added up to 295.02 billion dollars and about 2.2 percent of gross domestic product.  North Americans are not unfamiliar with charitable giving, philanthropy, and community service.  According to the foundation center, in 2005 there were 33, 944 foundations in the U.S.

The family foundation handbook reports that the number of family foundations in this country is growing rapidly as families amass wealth, and focus on values.  As these family foundations grow, there then becomes a greater demand for professional consultants to assist them with advise, capacity building, and technical assistance demands.

Square Knot Consulting presents:

" Getting Your Ducks In A Row for families"

This program forms non-profit foundations and provides capacity building/technical assistance on behalf of families which allows them to provide consistent employment and activity for family members, raise funds for and donate to charitable causes in exchange for tax deductions while maintaining jurisdiction over their personal gifts, curtail estate tax liabilities, prevent capital gains tax on the sale of appreciated property contributed to the charity of their choice, and most importantly preserve their family name for years and years to come.  For this particular program Square Knot Consulting bases all services upon the Getting Your Ducks In A Row Chart which starts with Someoneʼs Dream, merges into Program or Service Plan, and ends with a Prototype grant structure/operations manual.  Strategic planning and enabling functions is typically always included.
